First John Baptist Church is located just off of I-77. It offers a Sunday morning service, Sunday school, Tuesday night Bible study, youth, couples' and singles' programs, and a choir. There is a small play area outside for children. First John Baptist Church opened in 1994 and moved to its current location in 2004. Its pastor is Rev. John Keith Baxter.
