Madeline Carol is a local artist whose formal art study includes a degree in Fine Arts from the Charleston Southern University and additional study at the College of Charleston. She gains inspiration from the lovely city scenery and rich history of Charleston, incorporating many aspects of the cityscape into many of her works. Some of Madeline's favorite artistic subjects include paintings of historical sites throughout the port city with ghost figures adorned in 18th century period clothing. Much of her work is showcased here at the gallery, in a residential home rezoned for commercial use.
