Chris began his banking career with SouthState Bank in 2005, where he began as a consumer lender and branch manager. He spent 8+ years in private and commercial banking helping professionals and business owners. He understands the intricacies of small business from this banking experience and growing up in his parents' electrical contracting business in Greenville. Chris joined the mortgage team in 2015 and has been one of the top producers each year. Because of his experience with construction, he is an expert in the field of construction\-to\-permanent loans and lot loans. Additionally, Chris specializes in jumbo lending, physician and professional loans, and loans for business owners. Chris is a graduate of Clemson University and an active member of Grace Church Downtown. He and his wife Dorsey are parents to their daughter and 3 sons.
