History
Boxwood Plantation's home was completed about 1870 by Jackquilling Gee and Elizabeth Caroline Kennedy Gee for their daughter Jaqueline Gee Muldrow and her husband Mathew Muldrow. It is fittingly named Boxwood for the formal planting of Boxwoods that cradle the front porch entrance. Our halls carry many years of love and life lived to the fullest. We continue to enjoy a tradition of hospitality. Boxwood is our family home, which means that we reserve the right to decline a date based upon our own family events and gatherings. We choose to host a maximum of 6 events each year so that we can better focus on you. Having married 3 daughters of our own, we understand that each bride has her own idea of her dream day. It is our goal to allow our clients to uniquely tailor their wedding celebrations to their own liking.
