Jean Steele opened J B Pivots in 1986 Sold it in 1993 and I bought it in 1996 We are now a non profit organization that preserves the Carolina shag and Beach Music . Membership is $125 a year with free lessons all year. Call to join or visit 843 814 0101

We are the only Beach Club in Charleston WE preserve Carolina Beach Music and the Carolina Shag We teach the Shag Dance 3 nights a week. Our membership is $125 per person a year and covers shag lessons for one year. Non members may purchase shag lessons only on Tuesdays for $50 for the Month per person(4 lessons)
