The historical Pomham Rocks Lighthouse can be seen from East Providence's East Bay Bike Path. It is not open to the public.
The house was stationed and built in 1871 and was deactivated in the 1970s. It was relighted in 2006. The lighthouse is contructed using wooden materials and has a traditional red-and-white exterior.
The Pomham Rocks Lighthouse is owned by the American Lighthouse Foundation and cared for by the Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse. Contact the latter organization by e-mail at pomhamrockslighthouse@yahoo.com.
