The Pascoag Utility District is a quasi-municipal utility that provides electricity and water on a nonprofit basis. The district is regulated by the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission. The Pascoag Utility District serves more than 5,000 customers in Pascoag and Harrisville, R.I. In partnership with various schools, it assists students and teachers to identify conservation issues and create solutions to tackle several environmental problems. The district also assists students to design a variety of conservation kits, informative videos, books and conservation projects. It participates in various recycling programs. The district is a member of the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund. The Pascoag Utility District is located in Pascoag, R.I.
