The New England Educational Opportunity Association (NEOA) is a professional organization dedicated to advocating for equal educational opportunities in higher education for low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities. With a membership of over 300 educators across the six New England states, NEOA works to develop the skills and knowledge of educational opportunity professionals and promote access to and success in postsecondary education.
NEOA was founded in 1976 and continues to actively support its mission through various initiatives, including the annual conference, professional development programs, and state advocacy efforts. As a trusted resource for educational opportunity professionals, NEOA strives to ensure that all individuals have the chance to pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals.
