The Maury Loontjens Memorial Library serves as the official library for Narragansett. It was dedicated in Sept. 2007 to Loontjens, who was known his support and patronage of the library during his nine terms on the Narragansett Town Council and 10 years as town manager. The library has an obelisk outside honoring his contributions to the town.
This location provides approximately 63,000 books on a single floor, along with a specific room devoted to children's titles with a small play area. Movies, DVDs and Internet access is also available.
