The Irish Ceilidhe Club of Rhode Island was founded in 1956 by Irish immigrants to provide a place for social activities and to share their heritage. The club holds Irish dances every month with different themes that feature performances by Irish bands and musicians as well as food. General meetings are held on the third Friday of each month and membership applications are available inside the main doorway. The club also has a pub in its basement which is accessible from the rear of the building. The pub is open every Friday from 7:30pm - Midnight.
