Curtis Corner Middle School has 600 students in grades 7 & 8. Teachers and students are team-based, meaning that a group of students share the same group of core teachers. It has six interdisciplinary teams and one Unified Arts team. Teachers meet collaboratively every day to share best practices and work together to reach mutually agreed upon goals.
CCMS is dedicated to providing a responsive education that meets the needs of young adolescents in personalized, small communities.
Since 2004, Curtis Corner has consistently been classified by the RI Department of Education as a high performing school. Its high performance has also been recognized by Rhode Island's First Alliance.
