Community Fruitland is a privately owned produce company with a 55,000-square-foot plant. The company stores, sells and ships fruits and vegetables to individual customers as well as distributors, food chains, universities, restaurants, institutions, retail chains and food processors throughout New England.
All of the food sold by the company is tested for organisms such as e.Coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus Aureus by using methods approved by the FDA and other agencies. Community Fruitland specializes in providing bulk and pre-cut produce and can ship orders the same day with one of its six refrigerated trucks.
