This small, neighborhood grocery provides Bristol's large Azorean community with tastes of home. It carries Portuguese meats and sausages including chourico and blademeat, handmade on the premises, as well as locally-sourced fresh cow and goat cheeses. Portuguese corn bread, sweet bread and biscuits are available, as are many types of canned staples and a supply of basic, fresh produce including onions, peppers, potatoes and cabbage. Current owner Eduardo Pereira has owned the shop for the past decade, but it has been a Wood Street fixture for generations.
