History
In 1987, Gigi and David Andrade -- littleneck connoisseurs, fishermen, and soulmates -- opened the doors to their seafood shop with the intention to share their love of seafood with the Bristol community. David, a commercial quahog fisherman, spent mornings fishing on Narragansett Bay and afternoons delivering his and his fishing peers' catches to restaurants around Rhode Island. Gigi, meanwhile, was running the show at the shop: passing her knowledge of seafood on to customers, meeting new faces, and slinging the best fish and chips this town's ever tasted. Much has changed since those days (like we no longer serve fish and chips) but much has stayed the same. David is still delivering product to many of the same restaurants. The shop is still open on Wood Street seven days a week. We're still obsessed with seafood. And while Gigi isn't with us anymore, her family is carrying on her legacy by serving the community she loved.
