Via of the Lehigh Valley is a nonprofit human service agency that serves children and adults. It provides a variety of support services for individuals suffering with developmental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, autism and mental retardation. Established in 1954, the agency specializes in the areas of early intervention, child care, employment and retirement assistance. Via of the Lehigh Valley serves more than 1,000 patients. It offers various educational services, as well as fosters and advocates the concept of inclusion and choice within schools, neighborhoods and communities. Via of the Lehigh Valley works in partnership with Via Events and The Via Foundation. It additionally features a community employment program that provides job development and coaching services. Via of the Lehigh Valley is located in Bethlehem, Pa.
