History
Wild Purveyors has provided wholesale service to Pittsburgh restaurants since its inception in 2009, when our focus was exclusively wild mushrooms and wild foods foraged by us form Pennsylvania woodlands. Today we work with over 90 sustainable Pennsylvania farms sourcing all of our farmed products from our diverse agricultural state, still foraging for wild foods, and now in addition to wholesale to area restaurants, our retail consumer market has been open since August of 2012.
Specialties
Pennsylvania artisan foods such as seasonal organic produce, grass fed organic dairy, artisan farmstead raw milk cheeses, seasonal wild foraged mushrooms, cultivated exotic mushrooms, as well as pastured and grass fed meats. House made products include: accompaniments for cheese boards and wine pairings and beer pairings, wild season salts, shrubs and drinking vinegars for cocktails and dressings, and wild foraged preserves of all sorts. Additionally we have package deals on whole and half animals cut, wrapped, and ready for your grill!
