Serving grades K-8 and located in Pittsburgh's Westwood community, this school is in a residential area yet close to downtown. At Westwood, the emphasis is on student safety and commitment to order. Cellphones are collected daily and held in the office until dismissal, and there is a strictly enforced dress code. Parents are encouraged to participate as tutors, classroom volunteers, readers and anything else they can suggest.
