History
The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra was founded becuase of a perceived void in the Westmoreland region. Various orchestras and arts groups would pass through the area on occasion, when community members and those from Seton Hill University decided we needed our own orchestra, currently headquartered in Greensburg.
