History
The Washington Wild Things Independent Minor League Baseball Team opened its inaugural season in the Frontier League on May 29, 2002. The team was hugely successful both on and off the field, advancing to post season play and setting attendance records throughout the league. Since its inception, the team has advanced to the post season eight times. The first and only perfect game in the Frontier League was tossed here at Wild Things Park in 2014, and several Wild Things' players have advanced to affiliated ball. But the success of the team reaches beyond the baseball diamond. The stadium and the atmosphere make Wild Things Park the perfect venue for families and for seniors. It's location and size make it perfect for everyone!
