The Upper Dublin Friends Meetinghouse is a thriving Quaker congregation outside of Ambler on Fort Washington Avenue. Worship services are held on Sunday at 10:00am. The church is full of history as the building itself has stood since 1814. A small, confined graveyard adjacent to the church is the final resting place of many early prominent residents of the area. An additional historical marvel is a horse-block, or freestanding step that was used to help members mount their horses when leaving services.
