United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America is a democratic, national union that represents more than 34,000 workers engaged in a wide variety of manufacturing, public sector and nonprofit sector jobs. Its members include injection molders, tool and die makers, sheet metal workers, truck drivers, warehouse workers and custodians, as well as teachers, speech pathologists, nurses, clerical workers, graduate instructors, graduate researchers, scientists, librarians and daycare workers. The union is an active supporter of the Labor Party and has formed alliances with Mexico s independent Authentic Labor Front. United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America is headquartered in Pittsburgh.
