History
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church has always been located in Hornerstown, PA. The chapel was originally located on Horner St, then a new house of worship erected at Pine & Hickory Streets. Since 1959, Trinity has been residing at the corner of Ash and Golde Streets. Each location made it through a major Johnstown flood: 1889, 1936, and 1977. The pipe organ at Pine & Hickory was dedicated in 1911 with half of the cost contributed by Andrew Carnegie. Some of these original pipes are still in use today at the Ash Street location.
