First Presbyterian Church in West Chester has continued to grow with the community in order to fulfill its religious needs. Currently, three full-time pastors serve the congregation the members of which number over 2,200. The Church provides a nursery from 8am to 11:45am on Sunday mornings so parents can listen attentively to the sermons.Both traditional and contemporary services are offered. At the traditional service, three hymns are sung while at the contemporary service, praise songs are sung with the words projected on a screen for easy following. The church holds classes for new members several times a year where pastors discuss what it means to become Presbyterian and arrangements are made for recognition of those who have decided to join.
