History
I started my business in 2015 after pet sitting and training my friends and families dogs for years. I found that it was really satisfying for me to be able to help people, so I finally decided to make a business out of it. I really have a passion for helping people and their dogs develop healthy relationships. As a child I grew up training my own dogs and horses, which continued into my 20s. During that time I discovered that I had a sincere connection to animals that helped me succeed faster in the training process. While in college I continued working with animals and eventually started full time at a dog training/daycare/boarding facility where I increased my training skills and honed my customer service skills and pet care skills. Once I decided that I wanted to branch out on my own I obtained additional training and was certified through the Animal Behavior College. I also have a great intuition for how to solve behavior problems, which is now becoming a great tool for helpi
Specialties
Do you love your dog more than words can express but you just wish they would stop jumping on your guests. Maybe you would like to take your dog out on the town with you more often but they will not walk nicely on a leash or they become reactive when they see people and/or dogs while your walking. Maybe you just got a new puppy and want to start teaching them obedience and proper socialization skills. My goal as a trainer is to help you adjust or create behaviors in your dog that will allow you to enjoy AND control them in all situations. I do this by showing clients how to develop leadership, trust, and clear communication with their dog. By using those three tools I want to help you get the perfect dog for you!!
