HistoryWest Chester Dance Works began as a Modern Dance Company serving the greater West Chester, Pa community. Over the years we have expanded the number of groups to include Junior Performers for ages 9-12 yrs, D.M. Dance Machine for ages 13-18 yrs. Annointed and Annointed Too praise dance for adults and youth in addition to the original Signature/Training Company. We have used dance to encourage, bring exposure to challenges our youth may have, African American History and community unity.SpecialtiesWest Chester Dance Works is a 501(c)3 non-profit dance company with the mission of outreach through dance. We train dancers of all ages and offer exposure to dance in traditional and non-traditional settings. We use dance as a vehicle to uplift and encourage our dancers as well as our audiences.
