HistoryIn the early 1950's Bill Hoffman & his brother in law Morris Goldberg were working for Universal Restaurant Supply. Although they saw much promise in the restaurant supply business, they wanted to start a company of their own. In 1951, Bill, his brother Dave & Morris started Penn Fixture & Supply. The early years were challenging; the company lacked the capital to make large purchases & therefore, at times, had to sell product before they actually had it. During the next 4 decades, the company continued to grow, increasing their staff from a handful to over 20 people. To increase buying power & keep prices competitive Penn Fixture & Supply joined the ABC Buying Group. Since 1952 the company has gone through considerable change. The founding members are sadly no longer with us & Bill's son Mitchell has run the company for some time.
