The Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association is a statewide trade association that works to improve the public image, effectiveness and profitability of more than 6,000 retail food stores, wholesale distributors and associated business members throughout Pennsylvania. The association supports food industry educational programs and activities in the Commonwealth. It also provides direct scholarship grants to college and graduate students through the Thomas R. and Laura Ridge Scholarship. The association s fund is supported by all segments of the food industry, including wholesalers, brokers, vendors, manufacturers' representatives and retailers. It also offers endorsed services in association with the Gleason Insurance, Gleason Financial and Professional Insurance Services.
