With more than 125 years in the community, St. John's Lutheran Church provides services two times each Sunday. The church has a preschool and several ministries for those over 55, women, music, eucharist and a tape ministry. St. John's is a congregation of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Bethel Bible Fellowship Church

Established in 1882, Bethel Bible Fellowship Church has been located on Elm Street for more than 60 years and is one of more than 50 Bible Fellowship Churches in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. The church has three Sunday services, two in the morning and one in the evening. The church also has a nursery and children's church during services as well as weekly Bible study, Sunday school and several ministries for all age groups.

Moravian Church-Emmaus

This pre-school is part of the Emmaus Moravian Church. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, the school offers classes for children aged 3 through kindergarten. On Wednesday, classes are taught for children aged 18 months through 3 years. Students attending classes on Wednesday are offered the opportunity to graduate up to the Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday classes as soon as they reach the age requirement. Scheduling is flexible, with students offered the opportunity to attend from once a week to the complete four days. The pre-school is co-ed and offers a program in July for children aged 5 through 8.
