Founded in 1922, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God is a congregation of women that serves the needs of people through various ministries in the areas of education, health care, social service and pastoral work. The organization has operations in the United States, Brazil, Lithuania and Bolivia. The Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God works in collaboration with associates, priests, lay persons and sisters of other communities. It maintains a child day care center that serves children up to the age of 5, as well as provides before- and after-school services to children in kindergarten through grade five. The Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God also coordinates seminars, conferences, meetings, retreats and adult education programs.
