Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is located in the Town Shopping Center near Giant and Dollar General, just off route 202 in New Britain. Children can choose to sit in barber chairs designed to look like a motorcycle, Hummer or jeep. Older children may sit in regular black barber chairs and play PlayStation 3 or Xbox games while having their hair cut.
Sharkey's offers "Glamour Girl Parties" for special occasions; children can play dress-up, receive mini manicures, and have their hair styled in a "Glamour Room." Party favors, birthday gifts, children's shampoo and other toys may be purchased at the front of the store for special occasions.
