Scranton Preparatory School is a Jesuit school providing education to students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes subjects, such as computer science, English, fine arts, mathematics, modern foreign languages, religious education, science, social studies and physical education. The school also provides extracurricular programs and has student clubs, such as bridge building, National Honor Society, bowling and literary club. Additionally, it provides various sports activities, which include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, softball, tennis, track and wrestling. Scranton Preparatory School is accredited by Pennsylvania State Department of Public Instruction and has an enrollment of more than 800 students. It was founded in 1944 and is located in Scranton, Pa.
