Dr. Peterson is a cardiologist who treats patients with coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and other cardiac diseases. He is the Medical Director for Cardiovascular Imaging and Cardiac Rehabilitation at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. He is also the former President of the Medical Staff at St. Vincent's. He is skilled in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular ultrasound. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he served as chief fellow. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as all cardiac imaging modalities. He speaks English.
