Project Learn School serves about 80 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. According to its website, it is a parent-teacher cooperative, which allows parents to play a role in their child's education. Parents help decide specific topics of study they'd like their children to learn.
There is a strong emphasis on group learning, though the school does have an accredited curriculum. Students are evaluated through conferences and goal-setting sessions. No standardized tests are given. The school also offers free art and cooking classes on various Saturdays.
