HistoryIn 2003, the HealthSpark Foundation was looking for a permanent home and, in the process, realized that many nonprofit organizations were housed in substandard facilities and subject to increased costs and escalation clauses in their leases. Recognizing the financial and programmatic challenges faced by the nonprofit community, the Foundation's Board determined that the construction of the Community Partners Center would provide employees with a decent workplace and clients with a non-stigmatizing professional and supportive environment in which to provide services. During its opening year in 2008, then Governor Ed Rendell and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Senate all honored the Center in recognition of being the first nonprofit center in Pennsylvania.SpecialtiesThe Community Partners Center for Health & Human Services seeks to provide a professional office space environment where its tenants and guests are encouraged to collaborate, explore and develop synergies among themselves and other community businesses and organizations that support their success in providing the highest caliber of programs and services in the most cost-effective manner possible.
