Join the Nation & Discover The Music In You I started teaching almost a decade ago, but I've been singing & playing the piano even longer than I can remember. When I began teaching, I knew I wanted to make learning fun and to grasp each student's strengths and use that to encourage them to learn and to attain the goals that they have set for themselves. As the months and years past, my studio grew and so did my waiting list. People were willing to wait for almost a year for me to teach them. I realized I had something special and unique to offer and my method of teaching resonated with my students and helped them excel in their craft. Audiences began to notice the high level of musicianship in each of my students when they performed and that reflected on my passion and love for music. Though I was classically trained, I thrived at teaching contemporary, R&B, jazz & pop music. I believe you don't have to sing and/or play classical music but you can apply the same techniques to music that you actually love, such as country music or soul. Every day, I witness my students becoming confident musicians, artists, singers and performers. I see them get excited about learning and performing music in their lessons and performances. To me that speaks volumes because if you don't love what you're doing, then there's no motivation to grow. I am very excited and proud to be a part of my students' musical growth.
