Located to the rear of the church, Lawrence Road Presbyterian Nursery School has been offering preschool education to children aged two-and-a-half to five since before 1965. The school's mission is to "provide a loving environment based on attitudes of respect and understanding along with fostering educational principles of emotional, social, cognitive and creative growth." Class sizes are kept small; all classes are taught by state-certified teachers. During the school year, children can learn about art, shapes, colors, letters, numbers, the changing seasons, and different holidays. The students are also offered programs in music and fitness, and can take part in several special events throughout the year.
