Specialties
My specialities include working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families with problems from anxiety and depression, to parenting concerns, to interpersonal conflict. In my work, I use an empowerment lens to look at all of my clients to see their strengths and, more importantly, to help them see their own strengths. I also employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based practice that studies have shown supports the treatment of a wide variety of diagnoses and populations. I have been trained in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, which encourages looking at environments and surroundings to determine areas for improvement, support, or strengths. It is also very important to me to adapt my style to the needs of my clients to promote positive outcomes.
