Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania has been operational for more than 50 years. Based in Philadelphia, it is one of the leading providers of mental health services in the United States. A nonprofit organization, MHASP develops, supports and promotes several educational and advocacy programs. The organization serves more than 5,000 adults, children and families annually and employs over 250 personnel. An affiliate of the National Mental Health Association and United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, it supports people with mental illnesses through community-based support programs and services. The organization offers a wide variety of programs and services, such as family education, residential treatment services, act now and connect program, mainstream Thompson street project, unity house clubhouse, structured support, case management and financial aid.
