Founded in 1978, the Living Word Community Church provides nondenominational prayer and baptism services for individuals. It offers worship, biblical preaching and evangelism services. The church provides various levels of sign language classes for people with hearing disabilities, as well as training in oral interpretation. It also offers amplification headsets and hearing aids. The Living Word Community Church specializes in religious and educational services for children in nursery through grade six. It conducts age-appropriate academic and recreational activities and group discussions to meet the mental, physical, spiritual and social needs of students. The church additionally operates men s, women s, youth and outreach ministries, as well as provides counseling and mentorship services for married and divorced couples.
