HistoryI launched my business after spending years in training and honing my skills. This started by attending Tyler School of Art where I received my B.F.A. in Photography. From there I went to a graduate program in Portland, ME called the Salt Institute for Documentary Field Studies. I worked as a staff photographer for a newspaper, did documentary videography in Chicago, and worked at a high end stock photography agency before going out on my own. It's been twelve years since then and I've loved every minute of it.SpecialtiesChris Kendig Photography implements a style that emerged from training rooted in the artistic, photojournalism and documentary photography traditions. As a boutique style studio Chris only takes on fifteen wedding commissions and twenty five portrait sessions per year.
