Lancaster Country Day School, also known as LCDS, is a private, independent, college-preparatory learning facility. Founded in 1908, it serves individuals in south-central Pennsylvania. The school provides educational services for more than 500 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Lancaster Country Day School also offers lower, middle and high school programs. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, physical education, science and social studies. In addition, the school conducts various athletic activities that include soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis and softball. Lancaster Country Day School provides guidance counseling services. It also maintains a library and offers summer programs. The school organizes language camps.
