History

We are a husband and wife team - both former restaurant chefs from NYC. La Chingonita opened in September of 2020, after many challenges due to the pandemic. We love to feed people and we are so happy to be serving the people of Philadelphia.

Our family-owned food stand specializes in authentic Mexican street food such as tacos, quesadillas, and burritos.
