The Highlands is an association of independent practitioners located in the historic Highlands district of State College, Pennsylvania. Since 1994, they have been providing psychological services for adults and adolescents in a renovated 1920s house within walking distance of the Penn State campus.
Their diverse group of twelve licensed psychologists specialize in treating a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, interpersonal problems, sexual orientation, and recovery from the effects of trauma. Each therapist within the association maintains separate client records and is committed to treating all information shared in therapy as confidential.
