Soroptimist International of the Americas is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of community-based services. Headquartered in Philadelphia, it is an international organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of low-income women and girls. The organization has a work force of more than 95,000 employees in over 120 countries. In addition, it conducts training sessions for the development of job and life skills.
