The Palmerton Telephone Company has preserved some of the history of telecommunications in a small museum dedicated to the memory of founder, Claude E. Reinhard. Mr. Reinhard was the founder of Pencor Services, the parent company of Palmerton Telephone Company. The museum contains many artifacts of the company's history and of the history of telecommunications in general. Along with working models of some early telephone sets, there is a small switchboard and a genuine style phone booth. Palmerton is a telephone company providing telecommunication and DSL services.
