The library serves the six communities of the Souderton Area School District: Franconia, Lower Salford, Salford, Souderton, Telford, and Upper Salford, with a combined population of around 37,000. IVPL is an independent member of the Montgomery County Library District. As an Access PA participant, the library serves all Pennsylvania residents under the Access-PA program. More than 30,000 individuals hold IVPL library cards.
