AC-ACLD, located in Pittsburgh, is an association for children and adults with learning disabilities that was established in 1966. It is a nonprofit, private and educational organization that provides various programs for children and adults suffering from learning disabilities and related neurobiological disorders. It promotes self-sufficiency and financial independence and serves more than 400 children and adults annually. The organization operates various learning centers that provide small group and individualized educational instructions to children based on individual strengths and needs.
