The Greene County Board of Commissioners is a part of the government of Greene County in Pennsylvania. It is comprised of the chief governing body of the county. The board has legislative and policy making authority to provide local services on a countywide basis. The Greene County Board of Commissioners performs administrative duties in the areas of veterans' affairs, human services, fiscal management, and registration and elections, as well as the assessment of individuals and property. It conducts agenda and public meetings on a variety of issues. The board appoints the office of the chief clerk to serve as the primary administrative point of contact in case of county emergencies, crises and safety violations. The Greene County Board of Commissioners also offers services related to proclamations and resolutions.
