Founded in 1895, Gratz College is one of the earliest transdenominational Jewish colleges in the United States. It offers various on-campus and online programs. The college provides several degree programs, including Master of Arts in Jewish studies, communal service, music and education. Gratz College conducts in-service teacher training, continuing education and specialized programs and courses. It administers various certificate courses in early childhood education, nonprofit management, and holocaust and Jewish Studies. The college additionally supports a part-time doctorate program. Gratz College is comprised of more than 60 faculty and staff members. It organizes a range of academic events and extracurricular activities for students. The college is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Israel.
