The Lehigh County Agricultural Center is home to three agencies. First, the Bureau of Agricultural Farm Preservation works to preserve farmland in Pennsylvania, and so far, nearly 20,000 acres have been preserved. Also housed at the center is the Penn State Cooperative Extension of Lehigh County, which provides technical expertise, education and information in areas such as sustaining agriculture, protecting natural resources and safeguarding the food supply. Also at the center is the Lehigh County Conservation District, which implements programs to protect natural resources.
